Company & Scope

Machu Picchu Online is a travel and booking platform offering tours, treks, transportation, entrance tickets and guiding services in Cusco, Machu Picchu and other destinations in Peru. By accessing the website or booking any service, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. All services are subject to availability.

Reservations & Payments

All reservations are subject to confirmation. You must provide accurate, complete and truthful information (full names, passport details, dates of birth, contact details). Payment conditions, deposits, balance deadlines and cancellation charges are governed by our Booking & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Client Responsibility

Provide correct personal information for all bookings · Review all booking confirmations and travel details · Hold a valid passport or ID where required · Arrive on time at the designated meeting points · Be physically fit and medically able for the booked activity.

Changes, Delays & Force Majeure

We may modify, reschedule or cancel a service due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, road closures, strikes, natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns). In such cases we will offer an alternative, reschedule, or apply the corresponding refund according to the service and supplier conditions.

Third-Party & Government Services

Some services involve third parties (trains, hotels, transport) and government-issued tickets or permits (Machu Picchu entrance, Inca Trail permits). These are generally non-refundable, non-transferable and non-modifiable, and subject to the issuing authority's rules.

Travel Risks & Liability

Outdoor activities in Peru may involve risks (altitude, weather, physical exertion, remote conditions). By booking, you accept these risks voluntarily and confirm you are fit for the activity. We strongly recommend travel insurance. Our liability shall never exceed the amount actually paid for the affected service.

Intellectual Property & Website Use

All website content is the property of Machu Picchu Online and may not be reproduced without written authorization. You agree to use the website lawfully and in good faith.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Peru. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent authorities and courts of Cusco, Peru. We may update these Terms at any time; changes take effect upon publication.
