Machu Picchu Online was founded by Luis Usca Callañaupa, a seasoned expert in Cusco tourism, with one clear purpose: to change the way travelers explore our region. No misleading information, no inflated prices that only fill the pockets of big corporations — just honest travel led by real local experts.
Our team is made up of local guides, cooks, drivers and muleteers who know these mountains as home. They grew up in the valleys the trails cross, and they share them in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Today we run 39 of our own programmes across 8 destinations — from the Salkantay and the Inca Trail to Ausangate, the Rainbow Mountain and the Amazon — every one of them designed, guided and supported by the same Cusco team.
